Measuring progress is personal.
The medium can be time, weight, feelings, mental health, physical health; a multitude of factors and facets of life.
What and how you choose to baseline is one of the most self love actions one can perform. Not comparing against others, but against SMART and attainable goals. Sustainable measurements that encourage your personal progress.
Some mediums will have easy measures, others will be just be known to you alone.
For those with measures, using your every day skills or actions to track your progress will reinforce positive feedback on your efforts.
From creating tracking sheets in excel to writing a journal to just seeing how you feel in your clothes.
If you need supplemental support, have friends or family join in, find a local support or activity group or even find your budget friendly coach.
As with any goals or endeavors, progress will take time, energy and consistency. There aren't quick fixes when trying to change. 20 days or so to make a habit, 90 days or so for real change.
Don't give up. Change/adapt your goals or methods if you don't see progress.
